Ben was never impressed by concept of the tooth fairy or by any money or gifts he might get in exchange for his baby teeth. He just wanted his teeth to not fall out. He insisted that if he could learn not to bite things “like a beaver” that he could keep his teeth.
One day he asked me, “Do the big teeth push the baby teeth out with their hands?”
While I was laughing, he said, “We need to tell those teeth to keep their hands to themselves.”
